Getting extra help

The contact details are organised by geographical region and you can find your local contact either by clicking on the map below or by selecting your area from the drop-down menu above the map.

Information literacy cycle

Information literacy champions
The information literacy networks were established in nine areas and consist of a number of "Local Champions" (or "e-Library Enthusiasts" in NHS Borders) who form the backbone of the networks.

Local Champions are permanant contacts for anyone interested in learning more about the NHS e-Library and are able to provide training on occasion, to medical professionals and other NHS employees who need to know about e-Library resources and tools.

Communities
A community is centred on a single topic and its members are likely to share a profession or common interest in a particular subject. A community may be formal or informal, short or long term and often operates across geographical regions, disciplinary boundaries and formal reporting lines.
